iDOT CCI 3.8-inch dual platform MID

At the Computex exhibition demonstrated the mobile Internet device (MID) based upon the VIA, iDOT CCI 3.8-inch. The model uses an Aigo MID form factor: to be nominated by the bottom slider full QWERTY keyboard. The display device has a diagonal of 3.8 inches and the resolution of 800×480 pixels. iDOT CCI MID is based on a 500 MHz VIA Eden ULV CPU (it does not require the installation of the fan) or 800 MHz Freescale MX51. And, most interestingly, MID can run two operating systems at once, dual-platform; Windows XP and Android. It is unclear whether they will be installed both in parallel or only one of them, the choice of supplier.

During the processing of graphics in the mobile internet device with the UniChrome Pro II IGP, the chipset is VIA VX875, also has a rather large class of such devices for the 1GB of RAM. This Mobile Internet Device has presented a wireless interface, Bluetooth 2.1, a 3.2 MP camera and a build-in GPS receiver. On the cost and timing of the start of sales iDOT CCI has not reported.

NEC announced the new MultiSync LCD2490WUXi2 and LCD2490W2-BK-SV LCD displays designed for high-end applications. Based on IPS LCD panel, these two displays are new members of the MultiSync 90 Series and SpectraViewII Series respectively. The latter includes the SpectraViewII Color Calibration Solution.

Both MultiSync LCDs feature 1920×1200 Full HD resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 320cd/m2 brightness and 96.7% coverage of sRGB. LCD2490WUXi2 and LCD2490W2-BK-SV are priced at $1099 and 1299 respectively.

Samsung NC10 with WiMAX

Samsung has added WiMAX support to some of its NC10 netbooks, which is interesting, because I could have sworn the company was going to phase out the Samsung NC10 and replace it with the N110. Anyway, the new NC10 with WiMAX is pretty much the same as the older Samsung NC10, with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1Gb of RAm, 160GB hard drive, and 10.2 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display.It also has 802.11b/g WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0.

WiMAX support will cost you though. While the Samsung NC10 is going for around $400, the WiMAX capable NC10-12PWBK version has a list price of $520.

Top speed of this car has been recorded over 200mph and the price will start from $375,000. Both the front and rear view of this car is brilliant and quite confusing as a speedcar. This left hand drive car has room for only the driver and the seat is also placed quite in a distance from the hood. There is only one rear view mirror, placed in a wired position, in the middle of the car just beside the driver. Placing the exhaust pipes has been done quite weirdly too, on the car’s backside just over the branding.

We missed NEC’s CRV43 43-inch curved LCD monitor while at CES this year, but the good news is that it is actually coming to market this July. The bad news is that it will cost $7,999. So what do you get for eight grand? A 2880 x 900 double WXGA native resolution, 200 cd/m2 brightness, .02ms response time, 10,000:1 contrast ratio, DVI/HDMI input and a USB 2.0 hub. I think I’ll save my house down payment and put two 24-inch monitors side-by-side.

Microsoft has unveiled its latest addition to the Xbox 360 lineup called Project Natal at the E3 09. It is an interactive motion sensing system for Xbox 360 allowing gamers take control of titles using their entire body. There’s simply no controller, you just walk up to the console and start playing, making it quite a significant move forward, even from the likes of the Wiimote. Movements are captured and understood, as are faces, expressions and voices. It all seems very exciting and promising for the future of gaming. Project Natal will be a blow to Nintendo and Sony.

Natal is a small box sits above or below your TV, which contains sensors ,a camera and microphone. The device can accurately sense player movement around a certain space and recognizes player voices. It recognises movements in 3D, and is smart enough to follow you around the room, tell the difference between you and other people, and be controlled using anything from a fist to a fingertip. LG-GD900 in 40 countries next month

LG gave us some more concrete information about their LG-GD900, which is - according to LG - the world’s first cell phone featuring a transparent keypad. The aptly (code-)named Crystal is due out in as much as 40 different countries starting next month already.
Well LG-GD900 is damn pretty cell phone. It still is, and the specs aren’t too bad either. The LG-GD900 comes with a 3-inch WVGA touchscreen, an 8MP camera, Wifi, Bluetooth, TV Out, HSDPA and 1.5GB of internal memory (expandable to 32GB).

Sony made its PSP Go portable gaming console official at the E3 2009. As the upgrade to the PSP, the PSP Go has a sliding design. It is boosted by a 333MHz processor and 64MB memory. It has a 3.8-inch 480×272 LCD display, 16GB internal storage, integrated Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b connectivity. You can also find built-in stereo speakers and a Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot.

2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport

If the introduction of the ZR1 into the Corvette lineup has made the base model look a bit dull, the Grand Sport package more than fills the aesthetic gap between the models. The Grand Sport package includes Stingray-like gills aft of the front wheels, unique rims and Z06 brakes. Unique suspension tuning reportedly nets a 0-60 time that goes from 4.2 seconds on the base coupe to 4.0 seconds in its updated configuration.

Corvette Blogger is reporting what it says is official Grand Sport package pricing, and the bottom line isn't as tough to swallow as some may have envisioned. The Bowtie fanboy site lists Grand Sport pricing at $55,720 for the coupe and $59,530 for the convertible. That's a not-inconsequential $6,205 bump for the coupe and $5,360 for the droptop. 6 New iPhones, iPod Nano to debut next month

We’ve heard about a 32GB iPhone, but it seems that there’s more in store for use come June. The latest rumor is that Apple will not only introduce one, two or three new iPhones, but a total of six iPhone versions will be unveiled next month. They will be divided by storage capacity, 16GB and 32GB, and will offer three different radio protocols: 3G, enhanced 3G (probably HSDPA), and TD-SCDMA. We’re still clueless as to what it really looks like, but it is rumored to feature a matte casing. Likewise, a new iPod Nano is said to be in the works providing a wider 1.5:1 display, integrated camera, and a smaller click wheel. The inclusion of a camera maybe stretching it a little bit too far, but hey, this is Apple were talking about so anything’s possible. The HP TouchSmart IQ810 is essentially an upgrade from the TouchSmart IQ500. Despite the fact it blocks out the sun, it retains the classy feel of its predecessor. Basically, it's the same, just bigger.The IQ810 is a very decent PC. With 25.5" 1920 x 1200 pixel LCD resolution, it includes fully Vista-capable hardware. All components such as Intel Core 2 Duo processor, NVIDIA 9600M graphics card, the webcam, the Blu-ray/DVD Supermulti or the 500GB hard drive are integrated into the back of a generous 25.5-inch screen Full HD.

It is generally inadvisable to put your fingers on a screen. With the TouchSmart IQ810, the version of Windows Vista Home Premium preinstalled 64-bit driver supports fully finger HP TouchSmart (single and double click, drag and drop). Apart from the sheer size, it's beautiful too: bright, crisp, glossy, with rich colours and a decent depth of contrast. In a smallish room it would happily stand in as a normal flat screen TV. So you can have in your living room or fix the wall (media not included) this beautiful black slab. If you're not a fan of touch or if you need time to adapt, be aware that the packaging also includes a remote Windows Media Center, and a keyboard and a wireless mouse.

Configuring the Desktop comes over that of a laptop than a desktop PC. Thus, the Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 processor is clocked at 2.4 GHz. A relatively powerful CPU that can be found in notebooks Acer, Asus or Sony Vaio appropriate for common tasks (office, multimedia files, playing games) and especially that little heater (35 W).

The Nvidia GeForce 9600M GS graphics card is a good compromise between mobility and performance. It is enough to stream HD playback and 3D games recently. It will sometimes reduce the native resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, for greater fluidity in the FPS. However bigger isn't always better, the 1920 x 1200-pixel panel is so reflective that you end up seeing too much of your own face. Also, the panel doesn't quite fill the chassis, so the IQ810 has annoying black bars running down either side of the screen. Regarding the storage, a 3.5-inch HDD, SATA 3G 500GB and 4 GB of DDR2 memory are a good starting point. The connector is ideal for a family PC (Gigabit Ethernet, wireless 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, analog TV tuner card...). There's little in the way of button clutter around the frame, and an impressive array of card readers, USB ports and A/V connectors around the sides.

LG shows 5.9mm World’s Thinnest LCD HDTV Panel

LG presents the world’s thinnest 42-inch and 47-inch LCD TV panels that utilizes the edge-lit LED (light emitting diode) backlight system and LGS (Light Guide Sheet) technology. The new LCD TV panels are just 5.9mm thick.

These 5.9mm panels feature 1920×1080p Full HD resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 450 cd/m2 brightness, 80% color saturation level and a 8ms motion picture response time. The 42-inch and 47-inch LCD TV panel weigh just 6.1kg and 7.3kg respectively, about 50 percent lighter than the same size of conventional CCFL-backlit product.

LG doesn’t announce the availability and pricing of these new LCD TV panels.

Microsoft intros new BlueTrack Mice and Keyboard

Microsoft grew its lineup of BlueTrack-based devices today with two new mice as well as the first combo kit with the technology. The Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000 is the first of the blue laser mice to include a mini USB transceiver and is particularly suited to notebooks, as owners can use the mouse on almost any flat surface while keeping the 2.4GHz RF adapter plugged into a portable while it's stowed away in a bag. The five-button mouse lasts for up to 10 months on its batteries and has a proper power switch to prevent the mouse from waking its host computer.
The Wireless Mouse 5000 is intended for the desktop and has an ambidextrous layout. Although its RF transceiver is larger, it's small enough to tuck into a compartment underneath the mouse for travel. It lasts for a shorter 8 months on batteries.

Finishing the updates, the Wireless Desktop 3000 combines the regular Wireless Keyboard 3000 with the just-launched Wireless Mouse 5000 to give users a BlueTrack mouse and an RF keyboard without needing separate USB adapters.

All three products should ship next month and cost $50 for the Wireless Mobile Mouse, $40 for its desktop counterpart, and $70 for the Desktop pairing. The keyboard by itself ships for $40.
