NewerTechnology introduces the new Guardian MAXimus, a RAID Mirror external hard drive with quad-interface. The new MAXimus supports up to dual 2TB hard drive in RAID mirroring configuration so you can protect your data from system downtime or crash.

The MAXimus offers FireWire 800, FireWire 400, USB 2.0 and eSATA interfaces. The price ranges from $149.99 (without any hard drive) to 799.99 (two 2TB drives).
