Sony Ericsson Yari and Aino Mobile Phones

Sony Ericsson has announced two new mobile phones, the Yari and the Aino.
The Sony Ericsson Yari will be the first mobile phone with gesture gaming outside of the Japanese market. Unlike the other two new phones, the Yari will offer a standard 2.4-inch QVGA display, so by gesture gaming, Sony Ericsson means moving your body in stead of pressing buttons. The company promises a variety of games to choose from, whether you want to keep fit and stay in shape or just want to beat your best score at tennis or boxing.

The Aino features a 3-inch 240×432 touchscreen display, a 8 Megapixel camera, WiFi, integrated support for A-GPS and Bluetooth.

Sony Ericsson Aino’s camera offers 16x digital zoom, geo-tagging function, face detection, touch focus, image and video stabilizer and red-eye reduction. It supports microSD cards for expansion. The phone comes with also Media Home and Media Go that allows you to take media content with you.
The Aino works with tri-band UMTS/HSPA and quad-band GSM networks. It will be available in Q4 2009 in Obsidian Black and Luminous White.
